The main areas of research: Based on the study of funerary monuments of ancient states of the IV-II centuries BC located along ancient trade routes, to conduct research on the establishment of cultural and historical ties between the ancient states of the Sako-Usuns of Kazakhstan and the ancient Kingdom of Silla in the Korean peninsula. To establish this connection, joint studies of funerary monuments are conducted.

The main object of the study and the period: the burial ground of Katartobe. Early Iron Age

SAKA-SAVROMATIAN CULTURAL HORIZON OF KAZAKH STEPPES: INVESTIGATION OF PROBLEMS OF INTERCULTURAL CONTACTS IN THE HISTORICAL DIAHRONY

The main areas of research: interdisciplinary studies of the Saka-Savromatian cultural horizon and theoretical modeling of ethno-sociocultural processes in the territory of Kazakhstan in the 1st millennium BC in the context of studying the problems of intercultural contacts.

The main areas of research: Theoretical reconstruction of the original appearance of temples-sanctuaries and some aspects of the religious and mythological system of the ancient population of Ustyurt and the Aral Sea region, an analysis of the materials of funerary-memorial complexes of the South-Eastern Aral Sea region and Western Kazakhstan

The main object of the study and the period: Karaotkel Mausoleum, Aygirli 2 and Hatem sanctuaries, Early Iron Age.

ANCIENT POPULATION OF ARAL-CASPIAN REGION: MIGRATION AND EVOLUTION OF CULTURE (STONE AND PALEOMETALL AGES)

The main areas of research: study of the processes of settling and evolution of ancient inhabitants of the Stone Age and Paleometall on the eastern part of the Aral-Caspian region, its adaptation to changing environmental conditions, the development of raw materials, the development of economic activities, the technology and typology of tools, the establishment of ethnocultural contacts with synchronous monuments and cultures of Eurasia

The main object of the study and the period: dune sites and the locations of the Sands Bolshie and Malye Barsuki, burial grounds of Kumsai and Ilekshar. Stone Age – Bronze Age.

The main areas of research: study of the processes of settling the ancient hominids of the Stone Age in the Shu-Ileyski Mountains and the eastern part of Betpakdala, their adaptation to changing environmental conditions, the development of their raw materials, the development of economic activity, the technology and typology of tools, the establishment of ethnocultural correlations with synchronous monuments and cultures of Eurasia

The main object of the study and the period: monuments of the Stone Age of Shu-Ili Mountains and Betpakdala
